Transport Prince
By Clark Corbin I used live over in Yakima years ago and went to the races at Yakima Meadows. I remember the horse that made me the most money was Transport Prince. It seemed like that horse was always coming in first. I remember every time Transport would run in a race with a horse by the name of Barricader, that would be the exacta. I can't count the times that both of those horses were the top two finishers in the race, and I cleaned up on the exacta each time. I remember the last time Transport Prince won over at Yakima Meadows. He was ridden by Frank Best, and won at odds of 60-1. Needless to say I cleaned up. Now if i only could find a horse like that here at Emerald ... |
